1. FC Magdeburg is on the verge of signing Anselmo García MacNulty. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the club has offered the 23-year-old a lucrative contract. Since the defender's contract with PEC Zwolle is expiring, no transfer fee will be paid. The Elbstädter are thus ahead in the hunt for the defensive player, ahead of FC Venedig. The defender will replace Jean Hugonet (26) in Magdeburg, who will join Hannover 96 this summer. García MacNulty moved to the Eredivisie in 2023, where he has since played 101 official games. He never played for the Wolfsburg professionals beforehand.
